Specialist Accounting Solutions Ltd is a firm of Chartered Accountants founded in 2015 by Sean Hackemann, who has been a Chartered Accountant for over 20 years and has extensive experience in leading finance departments of SMEs, advisory and corporate finance. Sean is supported by his team of colleagues across advisory and financial outsourcing, taxation and bookkeeping services.
Sean founded Specialist Accounting Solutions (Team SAS) in 2015. Sean has been a Chartered Accountant for over 2005 and has extensive experience in leading finance departments of SMEs, advisory and corporate finance.
After studying at Aston University in Birmingham, Sean started his career in in investment banking and M&A research. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, Sean worked for a decade in the corporate finance sector for professional firms including Begbies Traynor Group, Morley & Scott (acquired by Menzies), and SRLV in London.
Sean has prepared numerous business valuations for Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) transactions, as well as shareholder exits, disposals and acrimonious scenarios.
As a fractional CFO/Finance Director, Sean has led businesses ranging in turnover from £0.5 – £20m in a variety of sectors and in different phases of growth.
Sean also has many years of advisory experience in building financial models and helping businesses raise capital, and seeking investment from debt and equity funders.
Sean is supported by his team at Specialist Accounting Solutions to help serve the firm’s clients.
SAS is a supporter member of the Employee Ownership Association and provides business valuations for companies wishing to develop employee owned businesses.
